RMK brushes are made by Japanese company called Chikuhodo. Chikuhodo has their own brush line and they also make brushes for SUQQU, Lunasol, Kanebo.
As you can see from the picture, RMK brushes have short plastic handle. I think some people wouldn't like the brush handle for looking cheap. Short handle can be uncomfortable when you do make up on other people, but for personal use it doesn't matter. Acutally, it can be easier since you can be really close to your mirror when you put make up on your face.
The RMK logo is written on the handle. The logo isn't engraved, so it's more likely they are going to wear off. You could use clear nail polish to prevent that like I did on my brushes.
Powder brush is made of grey squirrel hair and goat hair. The brush feels soft from squirrel hair and it's also resilient because of goat hair. It's the perfect blend of two hair for your powder application. Natural face brushes tend to shed quite a bit. This brush doesn't shed. It washes beautifullly.
Cheek brush is made of grey squirrel hair. The brush feels so soft without any roughness.This brush gives sheer color onto your cheeks. Using this brush your blush looks very natural.If you want stronger color I recommend goat hair brush because this brush is too soft to for that.
Concealer brush is made of synthetic hair. What I don't like about synthetic brushes is that they tend to get twisted. Not big face or blush brushes but flat and small brushes. Their bristles get crooked, twisted and once they get twisted they don't go back to their original shape............never............................
I've had this brush for almost an year but this brush is holding its' shape pretty well.
Maybe it's the shape of it or hair quality I have no idea how the brush is still holding itself. Even though, I don't use this brush a lot since I just use eye blending brush to apply concealer,
I still really like this brush. I've used this brush with lipstick, it worked pretty well as a lip brush as well.
