BOBBI BROWN Brushes (foundation brush, eye smudgge brush, face brush)

I need to talk about my very first Bobbi Brown brush which was a concealer brush with a cap. I liked the brush. It applied concealer pretty well. After I used it for a while, the brush got broken. I went to their counter, they gave me a voucher with apologies. I was happy with their service. If their service was bad that time, I would have never bought their brushes again.

 

 



 

 

 

 

Their brushes have shiny wood handle except the kabuki face brush. They have the BOBBI BROWN logo printed on one side. On the other side, it says what the brushed is used for, which can be handy for beginners. I believe brushes should have their name printed on them, either a number or anything.

 

 

Foundation brush is a very typical paddle shaped brush with average size. It's made of synthetic hair. It doesn't shed at all. This brush won U Magazine Beauty Awards 2012 and SHE Beauty Awards 2011. The brush is soft and resilient, it applies foundation thin and natural.I like how it applies my foundation. It leaves less brush streaks compared to other paddle shaped foundation brushes.

 

 

Eye smudge brush is a round, densely packed brush. The brush is made of natural hair. It feels soft on your skin and it has no shedding. I find this brush too big to smudge anything on lower lash line, it doesn't have pencil shaped, tapered tip either. You might end up with raccoon eyes if you smudge your lower lashline with this brush. You could still use this to smudge eyeshadow on your eyelids. Personally I find this brush is the best to use as a crease brush. If you have smaller eyes, it's a perfect size. You need to use less eyeshadow with this brush unless you want very defined crease. The brush being dense, it's gonna deposit more color.

 

 

 

Face brush is typical kaubki brush with plastic handle. The brush is made of natural hair. It's soft and dense. The brush sheds quite a bit. Since this brush is natural and also densely packed, it will give more coverage when you apply powder. You could use it with mineral foundation, also to blend harsh lines of product on your face. I originally bought this brush to travel. It comes with a cute little brush case.

 

 

I liked using it to touch up my makeup with powder and blush, but when I travelled with this brush, due to weight and pressure in my bag, it shedded a lot more. I had to give up carrying this brush with me for that reason. These days, I use this brush to blend everything after I contour my nose. I might start using this brush when summer comes to really mattify my skin.
